New post Spiritual view of the crisis
Have you, or anyone else, written a spiritual explanation of how and even maybe why you think this whole crisis happened and how Almighty God allowed so many dreadful things to happen in the 1950-1970s and so one ? I am thinking, now, of a spiritual article or reflections. Thank you

Well, I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but here it is: http://strobertbellarmine.net/general_view.htm

Also:

Quote:
If it could be granted to us to have lived at the time when Jesus lived in the world, and to see Him for only one moment, we should have chosen that one, when He was on His way, crowned with thorns, and bent with weariness, to Calvary. And so we may thank God that He has placed the short moment of our mortal life at a time when His holy religion has fallen on evil days. We can gather up lovingly the fragments of His Cross and vow Him an eternal devotion. They have shattered it on our Churches; we will put it in our hearts, and there, we shall keep it in perpetual memory.

Montalembert, quoted by Marie Cecilia Buehrle from a letter of Cardinal Merry Del Val, in her biography, Rafael Cardinal Merry Del Val, Sands & Co., London & Glasgow, 1957, p. 67.

Thanks for giving me these two references, beautifully and spiritually written. I must go back to the biography of Cardinal Merry del Val. Harriet Murphy's life and his collected spiritual writings is useful too.
